When it comes time for you to make arrangements for the veteran in your life, know that our staff is both qualified and committed to providing them with the military honors they deserve.

When it comes to burial at a national cemetery, several significant benefits and honors are afforded to veterans and their families. Each veteran is entitled to a dignified resting place marked by a Veterans Marker, which serves as a tribute to their service. The comprehensive package includes the opening and closing of the grave, alongside perpetual care fees that ensure the site remains well-maintained. Additionally, veterans can receive military honors during the burial ceremony, further celebrating their sacrifices. Spouses and dependent children are also eligible for burial alongside the veteran, with their names inscribed on the same headstone upon passing. For those who qualify, a burial allowance may be provided to ease financial burdens. Furthermore, medallions can be affixed to privately purchased headstones—one indicating veteran status and another recognizing Medal of Honor recipients—adding an extra layer of distinction to their legacy. Overall, these provisions reflect the nation’s profound respect and gratitude for those who have served in uniform.
